The Law Society of Saskatchewan has pre-approved the seminar for 3 CPD credits and the Law Society of Alberta, the Law Society of British Columbia, and the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society recommend that lawyers and paralegals consider including this course as a CPD learning activity in their annual Continuing Professional Development Plan. Join us as we delve into the state of Immigration Law regarding Temporary Foreign Workers and International Mobility Workers in 2020. Our speakers will discuss immigration practice tips, changes in LMIA assessments and what the future holds for Immigration Law beyond 2020. The panel consists of Al Parsai, RCIC; Craig Natsuhara, LL.B; Cobus Kriek, RCIC; and Richard Kurland,LL.B; with Ron MacKay, RCIC, taking on the role of MC and event moderator. Parsai will be speaking on "International Mobility Worker Program Changes in 2020", Natsuhara will discuss "How to do Quick Assessments under EE and BC PNP," Kriek will cover updates to LMIAs and audits, and Kurland will talk on "Government Immigration Policy Changes Implemented in 2020 and Proposed Changes for 2021."
