NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Nov. 12, 2020 - PRLog -- Here's the story of a pillar in the black, brown, poor, and others living in the inner-city urban lifestyle. This teenage mom who could use welfare for what it was - Help! She wrestled with and found a way to trick fear, climbing out of a poverty-stricken environment, continuing to rise with triumphant outcomes. Serving the same community, she was once a part of is exciting, she reports. Lots of people know the glory, but few know the real story. Read on, and be inspired.

Lady Dinah Kinney is one of 13 children. She moved to New Haven, Connecticut, with her mother and siblings. Dinah attended New Haven Public Schools, graduating from Richard C. Lee High School. She was elected senior class president, graduated number seven in her class, and received numerous college scholarships. These accomplishments were significant in Dinah's life because she was a teenage mother to Tashana (her daughter).

Some predicted doom and gloom, high school drop-out, never to attend college, leaving her and her daughter as welfare statistics. BUT GOD!

She was young but never ignorant of the power and purpose within her of a dream. Pushing forward against the odds, striving to be a good mother, determined to get off welfare; A successful life was the goal for herself and Tashana. It was not easy for either of them, but they endured by the prayers and support of family, the Church, and others who gave words of encouragement and financial assistance.
