5 Tree Care Tips to Remember Blog

TORONTO - Nov. 4, 2020 - PRLog -- Once a sapling has turned into a full-grown tree; people tend to forget about it. In actuality, it is important to care for your tree for its whole life. This requires regular maintenance otherwise this could result in a damaged tree or early death.

Test the Soil

Whichever soil you use to plant your tree is what will feed it for the rest of its life. If the wrong type of soil is used, it can hinder the growth of your tree. The soil you should use depends on which type of tree you decide to plant. If you are unsure, then the safest option is to use organic planting soil. Have the soil tested before you plant your new tree to ensure that it is the right type, and free from toxins.

Water Your Trees Well

In the winter season, only new trees need to be watered an extra amount. Winter is the dormant season from plants and trees, so they won't consume moisture in the same way. During the summer, it's important to keep your trees properly irrigated and watered. Avoid misting, instead, soak them periodically. Deep watering on an infrequent basis is best for most trees.
