Southern Ocean Chamber Buy LBI Campaign brings shop small awareness to every season

SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - Oct. 13, 2020 - PRLog -- The Long Beach Island Region has seen an influx of consumers since the COVID-19 pandemic hit in early March. The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce office has seen increased demand for local information from new residents, longer staying visitors and property owners. As part of the region's chamber strategic plan it has created an umbrella program to house the popular shopping events including Chocolate Week, Shop Small Saturday and Holidays Redefined. The Buy LBI region program will allow businesses to direct market through Southern Ocean Chamber consumer Xplore LBI Region Newsletter, social and digital platforms. It will also provide content for businesses to use and share.

The Southern Ocean Chamber 's 2021 strategic plan" Commerce & Community" focuses on elevated opportunities for businesses to connect with consumers. The Buy LBI region campaign will be housed on www.visitLBIregion.com in the Local Knowledge section of their site. The chamber complies hundreds of deals each year from Thanksgiving, Christmas and Mother's Day dining lists, Boost Box Subscription offers, Shop Small Saturday activities and other seasonal promotions to shout support for member businesses.The ease of searching deals directly in the Expedia style member profiles will easy connection for online or in person business.

The program will launch this holiday season, but will remain active every month of the year focusing on local service knowledge, specialty products and calls to action. It is an program that can spotlight professional advice, discount offers or raise awareness to a promotion.
