Ken Dalton has released his new novel, Casper Potts and the Casserole Ladies' Club
Casper Potts and the Casserole Ladies' Club is a humorous tale that proves love will find you when you least expect it.
By: Ken Dalton
The story begins when Casper Potts opens his front door to a female he does not know. Before he can say anything, he detects the bouquet of spice emanating from the dish the woman holds between her hands and he exclaims, "I don't know what's in that pot but it smells delicious."
The woman responds, "It's just my Chicken Paprikash with Dumplings. I skipped breakfast this morning so I would have time to make this for you."
That first knock at his door became a regular event until one day, he hears a scuffle outside his front door. Casper opens his door and finds two women tussling over the marking pen attached to Casper's scheduling board.
What happens between the first casserole and the argument to force Casper to design and build the Ladies' Casserole Club scheduling board?
And how did the once introverted Casper Potts become the most sought-after male at The Oaks, the luxurious senior living facility located in the hills above Hollywood?
Prior to publishing Casper Potts and the Ladies' Casserole Club, Ken Dalton has published six Pinky and Bear mystery novels, and the non-fiction work, Polio and Me. Born in 1938, Ken grew up in Los Angeles, met the girl of his dreams, married, produced three wonderful children, and moved to Sonoma County in 1966.
