Register to Vote for Your Favorite During ChowderMonth

SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - Aug. 17, 2020 - PRLog -- Hundreds of voters have already registered for a month long hybrid event to eat and shop small business in the Long Beach Island Region. The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce is presenting their 32 annual Chowderfest differently this year to comply with COVID19 restrictions and safety regulations. Tasters can now purchase merchandise online, complete in the inaugural Virtual Chowder Walk Run and Bike challenge and of course register to vote. There is no cost to become a VIP this year, where an email address will get you access to the ballot, digital mapping and Chowderfest Playlist.

Tasters are representing near and far from Philadelphia, Staten Island, and across New Jersey to include Passaic, Somerset, Bergen, Union and Ocean Counties. Pennsylvania counties also include Bucks, Delaware and Montgomery. Restaurants registered to date for take out or dine in chowder experiences are 3 Time Champion Lefty's Tavern with their award winning Manhattan, County Kettle Chowder's Lobsta Bisque, Terrace Tavern, New Jersey Clam Chowder, Roberto's Dolce Vita entering Robbie's Red Clam Chowder, Surf City Hotel's New England Style, Tucker's Tavern New England, Daddy O Restaurant & Hotel's Manhattan, The Woo Hoo with their Crabzilla and Living On the Veg with their own Manhattan.  Merchants who are offering ChowderMonth specials include Bywatyr Shop, Gifted by the Sea, Between the Sheets, South End Surf & Paddle and The Good Life Boutique.
