-- OMAHA, NE - At the beginning of the year, Houston, TX resident and 2020 Independent Presidential Candidate Jade Simmons launched an unexpected independent run for President of the United States with her campaign Operation Restoration 2020. As part of her New American Dream
tour, she will be in Omaha, Nebraska August 17th through the 19th for a private event.
She will also be available for news interviews while she is there.
Simmons will be listed as a registered write-in option for president in 41 states. 8 of the states (South Carolina, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Hawaii, Arkansas, South Dakota, Nevada and New Mexico) require independent candidates to gather petition signatures in order to get on the ballot (numbers vary by state).

"Our country has never been in need of restoration more than now. It is necessary in this season for new leadership to rise up that will serve ALL Americans," said Simmons. "My team and our volunteers are committed to the goal of gathering at least 1,000 signatures, because we believe that Americans in all states should know there is a third option and have access to vote for all presidential candidates."

- The mission of Operation Restoration, the campaign of Jade Simmons, is to 1) to restore the United States of America to its' God-given identity of being a unified nation, that honors God and serves ALL people, 2) to strip away the dysfunctional practices of divisive politics and bring forth a new lane of leadership that prioritizes people over profit, political games, and personal agendas and 3) to give voice to the voiceless and the "muted middle" – those individuals that don't fully agree with the left side or the right side but believe there is a place in the middle where we can honorably meet and find common ground on the issues that matter to our country.
