Libman Education Announces Adoption of the Merck Manual as an Online Resource to Supplement Training

BEDFORD, Mass. - Aug. 6, 2020 - PRLog -- Libman Education announced an agreement with Merck & Co. to provide detailed reference material from the Merck Manual Professional Version for inclusion in Libman Education online training courses.  The comprehensive reference materials will start to appear in Libman Education courses in July 2020 as courses are updated for the FY2021 code sets.

Up-to-date and peer-reviewed content from Merck Manual Professional Version will be embedded as a hyperlinked knowledgebase customized and configured to work within the Libman Education on-line coding courses. Students will be encouraged to drill-down within courses to expand their knowledge of medical conditions, disease processes, clinical indicators, laboratory values, procedures and exams thus ensuring their coding decisions are based on sound knowledge and in-depth understanding.
