About the Red Dot Design Award
Red Dot Award is one of the largest design competitions in the world. The history of the award dates back to 1955 when the jury assembled to determine the best design of the day for the first time. Prototypes and concepts have been evaluated since 2005. The Red Dot brand publishes yearbooks and special publications, leads several museums and a global exhibition, and holds celebrations of year's winners. This year, due to COVID-19, the celebration of the winners is an online event.
