UniCourt Onboards New Cook County, Illinois Courts to Improve Access to Trial Court Data

TUSTIN, Calif. - June 11, 2020 - PRLog -- UniCourt, a Tustin based legal technology company has just announced in a product release that it has onboarded new courts for Cook County, Illinois. "Onboarding Cook County is yet another step we are taking to cover as much of the US population as possible to improve access to court records for attorneys, businesses, and consumers," says UniCourt CEO, Josh Blandi.

In its announcement, UniCourt noted that onboarding new courts for Cook County was a strategic move to improve access to court data, as Cook County represents the second largest county in the United States with over five million residents.

The company also noted that its clients can now get bulk access to court data from Cook County courts through UniCourt's Legal Data API, and download data that has already been structured and formatted to readily power business development tools, internal applications, and process workflows. In addition to bulk API access to court data, its clients can also now use UniCourt's case tracking, automated court searches, and search features with Cook County court records.

UniCourt further restated its commitment to providing the public with greater access to legal data and highlighted that it will be onboarding additional courts for California, South Carolina, Arkansas, and Oklahoma in the coming weeks and months. "Improving access to the law by making court records and legal data more accessible and useful is core to UniCourt's mission as a company." says Blandi.
