PRLog -- The June 2020 Young Achievers Excellence Virtual Program welcomes 8-year-old Entrepreneur and Author Jasmine Miracle Cobb as its second Guest Speaker.
At five years old, Jasmine received the "Most Likely To Be An Author" Award and since that day, Jasmine has been determined to make her dreams come true. Jasmine loves to speak, read, explore and build anything her mind can think of. She launched her first book, "My Ice Cream Dream" on May 11, 2019, and will soon have a companion coloring book. Since she's a love of ice cream, she also has ice cream themed jewelry. Jasmine's goal is to write many more books and to become a Best Selling Author. With the support of the City of Hampton Violence Prevention Mini-Grant Program, the 4-week non-profit Young Achievers Excellence Virtual Program teaches City of Hampton middle school students how to take their dreams, passions as well as frustrations and turn them into platforms of advocacy, expression and entrepreneurship.
During this program, students will make presentations;
interview youth and adult entrepreneurs as well as pitch their business ideas. Graduates will be given a business plan roadmap workbook as well as a 30-second video to promote their business or strengths.
