Follow on Google News | Santa Claus and Red Skelton Bring Back Meaning to The Pledge of AllegianceSanta Claus and Mrs. Claus recently interviewed the famous Red Skelton on their weekly TV show on Mountain Fun Life. They ended the interview with an important message for every American.
By: North Pole Press Santa Claus, portrayed by Joe Moore, and Red Skelton, portrayed by Hoffman, did the pledge on the show to remind all Americans how important the words were then, and that they are just as important today. The show "Storytime with Santa and Mrs. Claus" is broadcast on Roku and Facebook Live every Tuesday morning at 10:00 am EST. Episodes can also be viewed on YouTube. The Pledge of Allegiance segment can be viewed below. Each week Joe Moore and his wife, Mary Moore, read children's books to boys and girls during their program as Santa and Mrs. Claus. "It began as a way to entertain children during the quarantine, and give Mom and Dad a much needed 30-minute rest," said Mary Moore. "It has become a popular program on the Mountain Fun Life channel, and we have expanded by adding interviews and guests talking about entertainment and unique businesses for kids and adults to visit in the Smoky Mountains." Mountain Fun Life and the Clauses take their role seriously. So much so that they have added a new program for kid-friendly businesses in the area to let parents know that Santa approves of what they are doing. The new program is the "Mountain Fun Life Santa Seal of Approval." Businesses displaying this seal are recognized as 'kid-friendly' based on criteria that have been personally reviewed by Santa and Mrs. Claus. Brian Hoffman does performances almost daily at the "Red Skelton Tribute Theater." Information for his show can be found at http://www.redskeltoncomedyshow.com/ "Just as important as having fun, we feel that it is just as important for children to understand what a glorious country they live in, and that they should respect it at all times," said Santa Claus (Moore). Moore said he grew up watching Red Skelton and that Skelton's "Pledge" always moved him, deeply. "I thought it was time to bring that back and introduce it to an entirely new audience." https://youtu.be/ "With luck, and a little prayer, it may just catch on again," said Santa. End
