Dave Barr, CLU, is a native Hoosier. He grew up in northern Indiana, attended a trade school in Indianapolis, and was a journeyman diesel mechanic until his mid-20s when an opportunity in the field of financial services presented itself. In early 1984, Dave moved his family to the Seattle, WA metro area where they lived for nearly 25 years. Seeking a more simple pace of life, they relocated to eastern Washington in 2008.

Dave has served clients, their families, and their businesses since 1980. His professional acumen has led clients to describe him with words such as: "integrity", "kind & caring", "sound & timely advice," and "a man that I'd trust daily with my personal checking account". His primary professional focus is on developing passive income strategies for retirees & entrepreneurs. Additionally, he assists retirees with structuring appropriate healthcare plans. Dave's professional education includes the Chartered Life Underwriter & Chartered Financial Consultant curriculum from the American College, Bryn Mawr, PA. Studies include: Estate, Retirement & Investment Planning, Taxation & Economics.

Dave is a current member and past board member of the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce. When he's not working, Dave enjoys any number of outdoor pursuits, including camping, backpacking, hunting & fishing. He enjoys guitar and hopes, someday, to be a real musician. Dave & his wife Sarah live in Kennewick, WA, enjoy their ten children & (currently) nine grandchildren. They worship at Bethel Church, Richland, WA.
