Local apparel company offers support for first responders as a way to honoring mothers
As we honor moms in the month of May as well as support those serving in our communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a small business UB4Me Apparel has designed a t-shirt that will make a wonderful gift that gives back to first responders. We are donating $2 of every shirt sold to First Responders Children's Foundation. 1stRCF.org  This is a great opportunity for all small business owners to give back to those on the front line!

First Responders Children's Foundation established the COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund which awards grants to first responders experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Foundation will also fund temporary housing and need-based grants to first responders and public safety agencies across the country. College scholarships for children of first responders who have passed away as a result of COVID-19 are also available.

As of 4/20/20, First Responders Children's Foundation has:
-Funded more than 11,000 hotel room nights so first responders don't have to go home and infect their families or can self-quarantine.
-Awarded more than $800,000 to hundreds of first responders to date in support of COVID-19 financial hardship.
-Distributed more than 100,000 FDA-certified, surgical-grade masks to first responders without disrupting the supply chain of N95 masks for hospitals.
-Is preparing to distribute a significant amount of hand sanitizer to first responders and toys to children of first responders.
-Is preparing to continue to support first responders for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic.
