Digital Transformation - Heralding A New Dawn in Accounting, Finance and Taxation Arenas

BENGALURU, India - April 14, 2020 - PRLog -- Jain (Deemed-to-be University) School of Commerce hosted the 4th International Conference on Emerging Global Trends in Accounting, Finance, and Taxation on 27th February 2020 at the JGI Knowledge Campus at Jayanagar in Bengaluru.

The goal of this conference was to incubate and develop rigorous, relevant research in the field of accounting, finance, and taxation while reflecting on some of the major opportunities and challenges like the evolving smart and digital technology practices in businesses, continued globalization of reporting/disclosure standards and new forms of regulation. The conference provided a platform for renowned academicians and practitioners from these fields and other related disciplines to engage in intellectual discourse, deliberate, analyze and suggest measures in facing challenges and harnessing the benefits of digital transformation.

At the conference, the keynote speaker took to the stage and addressed, "Emerging Trends in Accounting" followed by a plenary session on "Recent Trends in Accounting, Finance and Taxation". Post lunch, research papers were presented by the participants from corporate and academia.
