COLUMBUS, Ohio - April 10, 2020 - PRLog -- As part of a global effort to support essential businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, a new non-profit organization named Be Smart, Stand Apart, announced that it has produced social distancing collateral with messaging to help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus.  The collateral will be available via the organization's website.

To help essential businesses and community members with social distancing requirements, three Ohio-based business members asked and answered, "what can we do?" in just seven days by putting together a non-profit, collaborative effort. The non-profit organization was formed by Dan Fronk of Dancor Solutions, Drew Catanzaro of ComDoc, and Sean Olis of Xerox. The idea for Be Smart, Stand Apart came to fruition by giving each company's products a new purpose and goal, supporting the health and safety of their communities in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr. Fronk, CEO of Dancor Solutions stated, "Being a small business owner for 25 years, you learn to be agile and respond to your client's needs. At this moment in time, our communities are our client, and we're doing what we can by helping businesses comply with social distancing requirements while supporting those on the front lines."

The social distancing collateral available at besmartstandapart.com (http://www.besmartstandapart.com/) will help essential businesses and visitors regulate the six-feet distance required for proper social distancing with visuals that get attention and send an important message.

Be Smart, Stand Apart social distancing collateral features floor decals with the Be Smart, Stand Apart message and is adding additional collateral this week. Profits, as well as collateral from the campaign, are being donated to food banks and homeless shelters, supported by the United Way of Central Ohio (https://liveunitedcentralohio.org/) and the  100 Million Mask Challenge (https://www.aha.org/100millionmasks) , which helps provide caregivers with personal protective equipment (PPE).

To secure social distancing collateral, besmartstandapart.com (http://www.besmartstandapart.com/) offers the following options: 1) Buy a Pack – Ship directly to the essential business of choice 2) Give a Pack – Donated packs will be distributed through multiple channels to essential businesses, starting with those with the greatest need 3) Donate – Your monetary donation will go directly to the 100 Million Mask Challenge (https://www.aha.org/100millionmasks).
