FRANKLIN, N.C. - March 10, 2020 - PRLog -- Are you aware that the amount of Americans living full time on the Seven Seas has doubled from 10,000 several years ago? Are you aware more and more luxury yachts are being built than ever before?

Why?

Hugh Simpson, a former Post Newsweek TV investigative reporter and author of Sea Gypsy Live-Aboards (pen name MR Valentine), has found through research that these Sea Gypsy Live-Aboard Americans are getting frightened with the current USA Mainland political scene especially as we head to 2020 elections and now with the fear from the Coronavirus reaching pandemic stage on US Mainland.

"Where is the one place that would be the least likely to contact the Coronavirus?" ask Simpson who teaches Situational Awareness, Preparedness and Survival. "I believe along with my business associates which includes a physician, a former UK Royal Marine Commando trained in anti-piracy, a retired US Navy captain who handled the logistics for Operation Desert Shield and one of the leading online security experts that our clients should relocate during the pandemic stage to literally the Caribbean on the sea itself as a floatilla."

So what about pirates?

"Yes, there are dangerous pirates especially in the Caribbean where we will be based," says Simpson. "We at my Valentine International LLC offer full time anti-piracy protection with former US and UK Special Forces operators."

So you don't own a boat and certainly can't afford a mega million super yacht. No problem!

"While researching for my book as a full time "land lubber" I found numerous sources of good used yachts that could easily be renovated and that included old barges," continues Simpson. "These old work horses are perfect for renovation that we can offer clients. I have located several in the 60 to 90 foot length for under $200,000. Then with $50,000 to $100,000 of renovation in living/dining space, galley, staterooms and heads one should have a luxury barge yacht equal to some of the other way more expensive ones. Plus I have a great relationship with the world's largest catamaran brokerage and several catamaran manufacturers."

They also have plans for their own "floating farmers market" barges using a patent pending water-based food growing system that is easily maintained with one hour's daily maintenance 24/7/365.

"This revolutionary system will be available to the yacht owners in our  floatilla and other ones too," explains Simpson. "The owners or their chefs will be able to get fresh organic produce daily without having to go ashore."
