Largest John Deere Toy Combine Ever Made Hits the Collector Market

DYERSVILLE, Iowa - March 6, 2020 - PRLog -- John Deere and toy collectors are salivating over the newest and largest toy combine ever made just hit the market.  Created by TOMY/Ertl toys exclusively for John Deere dealers, the huge 1/16 scale S780 Prestige combine is unlike anything anyone has ever seen.  This "toy" (and we use that term loosely) is really a collector's piece of art.  It is made in the old school way - with primarily die cast metal pieces, intricate moving parts and detail that is second to none.  The combine is massive in size and also includes the John Deere 712C corn head and 730FD flex draper head, both to the same huge scale.

This project had been in the works for years.  John Deere dealers who attended the Aftermarket Expo in Houston in 2018 got their first glimpse of this behemoth and had impatiently been waiting to get their hands on them since then.  TOMY/Ertl Toys limited production to just 5,000 pieces worldwide and they destroyed the tooling for this after it was made.   What does that mean to collectors, enthusiasts and investors?   That means that this item will never be produced again.
