RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - Feb. 24, 2020 - PRLog -- Target Arm is pleased to announce that the Air Force Accelerator Powered by Techstars competitively selected Target Arm for their 2020 cohort of 10 innovative companies. The accelerator, located in the Financial District in Boston, runs from February 10th through May 7th, 2020.

Techstars is the worldwide network that helps entrepreneurs succeed. Techstars founders connect with other entrepreneurs, experts, mentors, alumni, investors, community leaders, and corporations to grow their companies. Techstars operates three divisions: Techstars Startup Programs, Techstars Mentorship-Driven Accelerator Programs, and Techstars Corporate Innovation Partnerships. Techstars accelerator portfolio includes more than 2000 companies with a market cap of more than $25 Billion.

The Air Force Accelerator Powered by Techstars (https://www.techstars.com/programs/air-force-program/) focuses on developing better relationships with commercially viable startup companies with dual-purpose technologies — technologies that have a private sector application as well as government application.

Demo Day, taking place May 7, is a celebratory event showcasing the 10 companies that completed the three-month accelerator program to an audience of investors, potential customers, community members and mentors. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear pitches from each company, network with event attendees and meet the companies during the event's networking reception.

Jeff McChesney, CEO stated, "We are extremely pleased to be part of the Air Force Accelerator Powered by Techstars. Techstars is world renowned for assisting leading edge companies with innovative robotics technologies. Our goal is to uncover optimal product/market fit for Tular, and then accelerate into those markets. As aerial drone use proliferates, governments and businesses aren't getting full value from them, due to a lack of mobility and actually, the wind. At Target Arm, Tular enables drones to be launched, and more importantly recovered, from any moving vehicle, and even in high wind conditions."

Target Arm Inc. is a Connecticut-based firm that developed Tular, a Universal Drone Launch and Recovery (ULaR) platform, that enables launch and recovery from any moving vehicle at up to 65mph, or even during windy conditions. Target Arm is a Service-Disabled, Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), founded in 2017 to develop and commercialize the patented Tular. To learn more about Target Arm, visit www.targetarm.com.
