Dog Writers Association of America Announces Writing Competition Winners

NEW YORK - Feb. 19, 2020 - PRLog -- On Sunday, February 9, the Dog Writers Association of America (DWAA) hosted its annual banquet and awards ceremony, which was a sold-out gala in Secaucus, New Jersey. The event was held during Westminster Kennel Club's Annual Dog Show.

Guests enjoyed keynote speeches from author Anne Serling and Dogwise's Larry Woodward, dined on a delicious Italian buffet, and received many surprises throughout the evening.

"This gala is a culmination of a year of hard work by all of our deserving participants and finalists," said Carol Bryant, President of DWAA. "Dogs are at our core, and we celebrate by, with, and for them on this special evening."

Regular award winners receive a coveted Maxwell medallion while Special award winners receive cash prizes and commemorative gifts and plaques.
