Feldmann Nagel Cantafio Adds Distinguished White Collar Partner Michael Song

Michael Song has joined the firm of Feldmann Nagel Cantafio, PLLC. As a former federal prosecutor, Michael brings significant experience representing individuals and corporations in civil and criminal fraud investigations.
 
DENVER - Feb. 18, 2020 - PRLog -- Feldmann Nagel Cantafio PLLC is pleased to announce that Michael Song has joined the firm's Denver office as a partner to lead the firm's white-collar crimes and government investigations arm of their criminal defense practice. Mr. Song has a reputation throughout the legal community as a skilled and tenacious advocate for his clients, having represented his clients in a variety of local and high profile criminal allegations.

As a former federal prosecutor, Mr. Song brings a broad background of legal practice to the clients he will represent at Feldmann Nagel Cantafio. Throughout his tenure as federal, state and local prosecutor, Michael has handled over 30 jury trials and 100 grand jury investigations, collaborating on numerous long-term criminal investigations with both state and federal law enforcement bodies.

His experience in criminal proceedings comprises a varied background of both state and federal crimes, including securities fraud, tax fraud, mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, counterfeiting, and bribery. He served with distinction as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia and the District of Hawaii. Michael also the first Marijuana Attorney in a State Attorney General's Office in the United States and most recently served as Chief Deputy District Attorney for the City and County of Denver.

Mr. Song earned his juris doctorate degree from the University of Texas School of Law following a Master's program in public affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs. Michael is also a graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He currently serves as Co-Chair for the Board of Directors at the Center on Colfax and Board Member for the Center for Legal Inclusiveness. He was also appointed to be the Honorary Consulate General of South Korea for the State of Colorado last July.
