As a former federal prosecutor, Michael brings significant experience representing individuals and corporations in civil and criminal fraud investigations.
As a former federal prosecutor, Mr. Song brings a broad background of legal practice to the clients he will represent at Feldmann Nagel Cantafio. Throughout his tenure as federal, state and local prosecutor, Michael has handled over 30 jury trials and 100 grand jury investigations, collaborating on numerous long-term criminal investigations with both state and federal law enforcement bodies. His experience in criminal proceedings comprises a varied background of both state and federal crimes, including securities fraud, tax fraud, mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, counterfeiting, and bribery. He served with distinction as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia and the District of Hawaii. Michael also the first Marijuana Attorney in a State Attorney General's Office in the United States and most recently served as Chief Deputy District Attorney for the City and County of Denver. He currently serves as Co-Chair for the Board of Directors at the Center on Colfax and Board Member for the Center for Legal Inclusiveness.
