Former Pro Surfer Colin Smith On His Growing Personal Development Retreats

SAN DIEGO - Feb. 11, 2020 - PRLog -- The Awakening Trainings are quickly developing an incredible reputation with their immersive and life-changing retreats, which are held in the San Diego area monthly. Former pro surfer and highly regarded spearfisherman Colin Smith and his wife Kerry began offering the trainings in 2017, which were first developed by psychologists and spiritual leaders nearly three decades ago.

San Diego native Colin Smith first hit the scene in the early 90's, being regarded as one of Southern California's top pro surfers and after a knee injury transitioned into spearfishing in his early 20's. His knack for mastering surfing pivoted well for Smith, as he quickly became regarded as one of the best in the niche. Smith's past recent successes in surfing and spearfishing have been covered in the media by Surfer's Journal, LA Times, Men's Journal and Surfer.

As Colin and Kerry raised their family together, they also did so in a way that is based on deep spiritual purpose and were influenced by a training Kerry's mother had taught them both over the years. With the challenges and opportunities presented and overcome as they raised their son, they both felt the calling to help change the lives of others. They put together their own version of the training and branded it The Awakening Trainings.  Over the past 3 years, The Trainings have been opening the doors to an elevated life experience through the immersive 5 day experience that is held in the Southern California area.
