INIFD Ahmedabad Awarded with 2nd Runner up at INIFD Lakme Launchpad, 2019

AHMEDABAD, India - Jan. 9, 2020 - PRLog -- INIFD Ahmedabad Institute was awarded with 2nd runner up trophy in zone-wise competition on 19th Dec, 2019 at Bhopal where 22 sequences by 11 INIFD Centres had participated in Interactive Session with Design Experts and Celebrities.

What is INIFD Launch Pad of Lakme Fashion Week

Fashion and Interior Design Students of INIFD Centres witnessed launch pad of Lakme Fashion Week 2019 mega event where there is amalgamation of knowledge and learning gives them a better insight of the professional world along with cheering up with the participants.

The first round of selection of students was based on best design concept and design collection for Summer – Resort 2019 in the PPT format which included all Boards and Sketches as per the fashion forecast along with a clearly mentioned design specifications.

The final selected garments from each Center were presented to the panel present at the event in a mini fashion show which were showcased on the runway by professional models.

The Panel of expert had selected one winner and two runner- up from the runway. The winner got direct entry for the Lakme and special guest to witness the Lakme Fashion Week at Jio Garden, Mumbai on 12th Feb, 2020 by the panel of experts.

INIFD Ahmedabad exhibits at Lakme Launchpad 2019

INIFD Ahmedabad is one of the best and an advanced Fashion Design and Interior Design Institute (http://inifdahmedabad.com/) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. INIFD Ahmedabad students have made their mark in India's biggest fashion event "Lakme Fashion Week" with the efforts of staff and students.

There were two entries from the INIFD Ahmedabad Centre: –

NOOR by Designers Anshika Jain and Virti Shah

SANDHO by designers Dhara Sejpal & Pooja Randive

"NOOR" CONCEPT BRIEF: -Taj Mahal, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World is an admired masterpiece. The beauty lies in its intricate details and sober exterior. But due to pollution, Taj Mahal is losing its pure white lustre and the dullness is increasing day by day, which is affecting its charm.

"SANDHO" CONCEPT BRIEF:  The concept is to create a range of garments out of the industrial waste from apparel production houses and giving out a fusion resort wear look for young passionate women. In this collection, two pieces of fabrics are fastened with patch work and embellishment is done over it with colorful contemporized form of "Dowry Embroidery".

The Collection NOOR of Designers Anshika Jain and Virti Shah were awarded with 2nd runner up trophy and all the Participants were awarded with the participation Certificate while the winners and runner – up got the trophy.

It was a great experience for the students to learn while having fun.
