Dr. Aijaz Ashai Honored with the "Top 100 Healthcare Leaders" Award at IFAH Dubai, 2019

DUBAI, UAE - Jan. 8, 2020 - PRLog -- Dr. Aijaz Ashai was felicitated with the "Top 100 Healthcare Leaders" award for his contributions to the healthcare industry at IFAH - International Forum on Advancements in Healthcare (formerly known as the Smart Health Conference). The international conference was held at Le Meridien, Dubai on December 16-18, 2019.

With 24 years of experience, Dr. Aijaz Ashai is currently the Head of the Department - Adams Wylie Physio Rehab Centre (IRCS MUMBAI). He is the Head Physio & Fitness Consultant for U-Mumba, Pro Kabaddi, Pro Volleyball, and I-league football team. In addition to this, he has offered his consultant services as Head Physio & Fitness Trainer for IPL - Mumbai Indians, Ranji Trophy Team of Delhi, Ranji Trophy Team of Mumbai, Celebrity Cricket Team - Mumbai Heroes, West Zone Duleep Trophy Cricket Team, West Zone Deodhar Trophy Cricket Team, Pro-Kabaddi Bengal Warriors, ATP Tennis, ICC Nepal Cricket Team, Mahindra & Mahindra Football Team, and Indian Rugby Team.

A well-known name in the field of advanced physiotherapy, Dr. Aijaz Ashai is a sports injury prevention, rehabilitation and treatment expert who has extended his physio expertise to famous personalities including, but not limited to,  Mr. Ratan Tata, Mr. Gautam Singhania (Raymond's), Cricket maestro Sachin Tendulkar, Vice-Captain of the Indian Cricket Team Rohit Sharma, World No. 1 Tennis doubles players Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi.

He is a Graduate of Physiotherapy from The National Institute for Orthopedics (Kolkata) and an expert in the field of Advanced Physiotherapy and Fitness. He has a specialization in Knee, Shoulder, and Back rehab from the U.S.A.

Upon receiving the award, Dr. Ashai said later in an interview, "It's amazing! We don't have words to express… I felt like I have achieved something in life and really thanks to IFAH who have organized this to encourage us and see that our youngsters who are coming down in this field to work hard and try to achieve this award next year."

The "Top 100 Healthcare Leaders" is a recognition conceptualized by IFAH to felicitate individuals for ideating innovations in healthcare.
