DETROIT - Jan. 7, 2020 - PRLog -- Premium translation software company Pairaphrase has developed a Microsoft Excel add-in called TBX Exporter For Excel to streamline a typical file conversion process encountered by professionals who use Excel on a Windows computer.
Previously, organizations needed to rely on confusing external processes to convert an Excel spreadsheet to a TBX file in order to achieve glossary compatibility with their enterprise translation software. This is because Excel doesn't offer conversion to TBX file format through the Export or Save As menu items.
With this add-in, organizations can easily export and import their key terminology stored in glossaries. Importing glossaries can dramatically improve the translation quality organizations receive when using enterprise translation software.
"At Pairaphrase, we're thrilled about this development. Not only because it addresses a previously unmet need in the translation industry, but also because it's aligned with our mission to create a new standard for CAT tools that are simpler and more intuitive, yet just as powerful as yesterday's translation technology,"
The idea for the free add-in was inspired by organizations' frequently expressed frustrations and confusion surrounding the creation of TBX files from Excel, the most commonly used program by organizations to create bilingual 1:1 glossary files for their translation programs.
With the TBX Exporter For Excel, organizations can eliminate a tedious step from the TBX file creation process and simultaneously improve their translation quality.
Pairaphrase puts advanced translation technologies into the hands of everyday business users to reduce the time and costs associated with the production of secure, high-quality translations.
