Follow on Google News | What if our Blessings are in our Struggles? Times and Seasons are Opportunities. Seize the Moment! There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event and purpose. Langston writes that had he known in his 30s, 40s, 50s or even the beginning of his 60s what he knows today, his life would be 180 degrees different. While not everyone relishes a critique of their life, our most valuable lessons were birth out of our losses and not from our victories. Strawn throughout the pages of Langston's book are 61 years of highlights from his life. Whether it wss his early days in Texas, his graduation, the navy, marriage, fatherhood or retiring from the navy, each event was a tool of learning. While we never consider how our trials or our ups or our downs could help anyone, we so often learn about life through life! Although we at times do not see the whole path, we can remain confident that it's taking us somewhere within the scope of God's care. You may or may not have missed God's "plan A", but God's plan B is your new plan A. You're right where He wants you today. God uses our mishaps and mistakes to accomplish His purposes. And, by the grace of God, His will shall be done!
