Local Retailer Introduces New Way to Fight Food Insecurity

EasyBins gives way for customers to fill local Little Free Pantries

SPRINGDALE, Ark. - Dec. 12, 2019 - PRLog -- EasyBins.com announced a new, creative way to allow its customers to serve their neighbors in need in the community.  Beginning in December, users of EasyBins.com can pick from a list of curated items to be donated to the Little Free Pantry of their choosing.  EasyBins employees will handle the delivery and stocking of the pantry, making it easy for anyone to participate.

"We wanted to find a way to help our neighbors in a tangible way and pass that on to our customers.  By using an already established vehicle like the Little Food Pantry, we didn't have to train people to go to another place to get help," CEO and Founder James Farmer offers. "This partnership allows our customers to maintain their normal shopping routine. We still deliver their groceries, but at the same time, they are able to donate to others without leaving their home."

Little Free Pantry is a national movement designed to help fight food insecurity in an organic way.  Small pantries are constructed and installed in a determined area and then used and filled by local residents or groups. The Little Free Pantry was designed to help others regardless of operating hours and with an effort to mediate the shame that often accompanies need.

EasyBins.com provides thousands of items from local retailers, along with shoppable recipes.  When local users places their order by Midnight, a bin is delivered to their doorstep with the items they have requested by 6am the following morning.
