By: Information Security Forum
DUBLIN - Oct. 31, 2019 - PRLog -- The Information Security Forum (ISF), the trusted source that senior security professionals and board members turn to for strategic and practical guidance on information security and risk management, held its 30th Annual World Congress in Dublin, Ireland, October 26-29, 2019.  The event featured a series of keynote presentations, workshops and networking sessions from the world's foremost international security experts who discussed the key challenges and opportunities that ISF member companies and businesses will face in 2019.

"Each year, our flagship event provides global security professionals with the chance to discuss and find resolutions to today's most important security challenges," said Steve Durbin, Managing Director of the ISF. "This year in Dublin, cyber security in the boardroom and human-centered security, were among the key issues that attendees were eager to discuss along with our ongoing look ahead to the key threats that the ISF perceives on the horizon. This places a responsibility across the organization, from the board of directors down, to ensure that suitable levels of security are being executed to protect the organizations mission-critical information."

The annual ISF World Congress allows attendees to interact and build peer-to-peer relationships with senior, international decision-makers and share in the ISF experience. Delegates also have the opportunity to learn how ISF deliverables can be applied in practice through a sequence of sessions hosted throughout the event. As in previous years, the ISF World Congress included an extensive, collaborative breakout program, led by ISF member organizations, which gave attendees a broader view of the experiences of others on the most pressing security issues they are facing.

"Businesses of all sizes recognize the substantial benefits the ISF brings to both our global member companies, and the industry as a whole, and our latest Congress was once again a great success," continued Durbin. "We are already looking forward to next year's gathering of international security industry experts."

The ISF is dedicated to investigating, clarifying and resolving key issues in information security and risk management, by developing best practice methodologies, processes and solutions that meet the business needs of their members.  For more information on next year's Congress, taking place November 14-17, 2020, in Warsaw, Poland, or for further details on any aspect of the ISF, please visit the ISF website (
