By: Community Medical Clinic of Kershaw County Community Medical Clinic is bringing back their popular "Oysters and BBQ Bash" for the sixth year in a row. The event will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 14. The bash, to be held at 833 Broad Street in Camden, will feature an array of delicious oysters and barbecue with all the fixings provided by The Catery on Broad. Live entertainment for the night be provided by Second Nature Band. The Oysters and BBQ Bash is an annual event that attracts visitors from all over South Carolina. Tickets typically sell out. "We can't wait to bring back the fan-favorite Oysters & BBQ Bash this year," said Kim Hudson, event chair. "We're thankful for the way South Carolinians have come out in droves to help support community health in Kershaw County." This year, CMC celebrates its 20th year of service as a nonprofit, community medical clinic founded on the mission of providing free medical care to the uninsured residents of Kershaw County. "What better way to celebrate two decades of service than through good food and fellowship with our community?" Hudson said. They provide primary care to patients at no cost, while also leading a collaborative effort to empower individuals to take charge of their own health and well-being.
