Afro Pop Star Reggie Explodes Into The Urban Mainstream

NEW YORK - Sept. 17, 2019 - PRLog -- Music is the universal language that translates our feelings, our emotions, our thoughts, and our soul. Some of the best artists in the music industry are the ones that can create an atmosphere from the second they begin to sing, rap or play. Reggie is today's greatest example of this.

Reggie was born to Nigerian parents during the late 80s in Berlin Germany. As a teenager, he left Europe and began his musical journey when he decided to move back to Nigeria to embrace his roots and culture. Thru his discovery he began to gain interest to pursue music production. Eventually opening up a studio with a local partner where he was able to perfect his sound with no restrictions.

He ironically released online a Christmas holiday track that some how garnered the attention of a Scottish management company SBL Consults.

SBL Consults realized they needed to bring Reggie into a bigger mainstream outlet that would produce develop brand market and distribute the artist and music. They connected with NYC Affluent Records CEO Oscar Sanchez who immediately signed Reggie & the SBL Consults label imprint to his company Affluent Records.

"Reggie is an incredible talent, his blend of AFROPOP & R&B is exactly what radio and clubs will be playing steadily. It was such a blessing to work with him and produce these new singles on the new album. Sonically we infused the sounds of Bruno Mars and Miguel with a bit of Marvin Gaye to describe Reggie style, its an absolute winner", says Sanchez.

Check out the new singles "CLOSER" in stores world wide on all platforms September 23, 2019 followed by "GHANA GIRL" in stores October 7, 2019 distributed thru AFFLUENT RECORDS + ORCHARD.

The album entitled "PASSION FRUIT" is slated to be released on Affluent Records + Orchard in late January 2020.
