Jamie Zahlaway Belsito to attend the Annual Massachusetts Statewide Convention

TOPSFIELD, Mass. - Sept. 12, 2019 - PRLog -- Jamie Zahlaway Belsito Congressional Candidate for the 6th District will attend the state party's annual convention on September 14th in Springfield. With 20 years of federal policy and advocacy experience, I am the right person to represent the everyday citizen of Massachusetts' 6th district.  I was born in the district, grew up in the district, I am raising my family here, and I am the everyday citizen. Belsito is a Commissioner on the Ellen Story Special Commission on Postpartum Depression for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the former Advocacy Chair for the National Coalition for Maternal Mental Health and on the Board of the Maternal Mental Health Leadership Alliance. Belsito is an authority in mental health policies on both a state and federal level, "In a time of unprecedented urgency and need for immediate access to life saving mental health and substance use support services, communities need expanded access to services, not consolidation, relocation and termination of programs."

Belsito serves on the Board of Trustees for Salem State University, "Public education is a pathway to success.  It isn't even a constitutional right. Access to public K-12 and higher education creates a solid future for ourselves and our children. Affordable education is the key to  successful communities and society."
