Staite, Elwes, 'Flash Gordon' Q&A's Head WW Tulsa Programming Schedule

Wrestling Sessions, Trivia, Costume Contests, Kids Programs All Weekend Long At Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center, Friday through Sunday
 
TULSA, Okla. - Sept. 4, 2019 - PRLog -- Q&A sessions with Jewel Staite ("Firefly," Serenity), Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride, "The Art of More"), Teddy Sears (CW's "The Flash") and Sam J. Jones and Melody Anderson ("Flash Gordon"), workshops, cosplayer and comics creator sessions, adult and kids costume contests, live podcasts and more highlight the programming offerings at Wizard World Tulsa, Friday through Sunday at the Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center. Most programming is included as part of the standard event admission and is in addition to the live entertainment options (dancing, music, etc.) all weekend.

Some highlights of the more than 50 hours of panels scheduled to date include:

· "Flash Gordon" dual panel with Jones and Anderson (Sunday, 11:30 a.m.)
· Solo Q&A sessions with Staite (Saturday, 3 p.m.), Elwes (Saturday, 4 p.m.) and Sears (Saturday, 5 p.m.)
· Pro wrestlers Kevin Nash and Lisa Marie Varon dish on their favorite ring promotions (Sunday, 1 p.m.); longtime wrestling announcer Jim Ross and Hall of Famer Honky Tonk Man also get their licks in (Saturday, noon)
· 2000s Pop Culture Trivia panel with Thomas Ian Nicholas (Rookie of the Year, American Pie) and Samm Levine ("Freaks and Geeks") (Friday, 7:30 p.m.)
· Creator sessions with industry superstars Joe Wos, Dr. Travis Langley, Ron Marz, Christopher Priest and more
· Interactive Workshops "Intro to Sculpting," hosted by Expert Sculptor & Prop builder Calen Hoffman of Propcustomz, an immersive, 90-minute session in which attendees will go through the steps to make their own custom clay creation, with all the materials and tools included, and "Intro to Resin Casting," hosted by master pro Casey McBroom of "Shield Labs," a walk through on making silicone molds (additional ticket required)
· Fan- and industry-based panels on subjects ranging from "Star Trek," publishing, horror film characters, "Nerdprov," vampires, genre films, TV show remakes, superheroes, monsters/kaiju and more
· Kids programming all three days, including free sketches, jedi training, cartooning for kids and more
· World-famous Wizard World Adult Costume Contest, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Kids Costume Contests on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.
· Cosplay with special guests Chaotic Neutral, Divine Creations, Stubby Tumps, Kawaii Kid and more, throughout the weekend

Unless noted, programming events take place in the designated General Programming Rooms or show floor stages at the convention center. VIP tickets or additional costs may apply to ensure access to select activities, as noted.
