The Pocono Great Talent Icon Event marks it return November 3 to the Sherman Theater

STROUDSBURG, Pa. - Sept. 4, 2019 - PRLog -- The Pocono Great Talent Icon Event Finale Show will return to the Sherman Theater Sunday November 3, 2019 from 4- 7:30 pm.  "We are so excited for this year's exciting Finale show inspired by Iconic people who have influenced these amazing talents" says Gil Coronado, Event Producer and Organizer.  "After last year's exciting show, inspired by Iconic Women in Music, we decided to broaden the theme to all Icons" Coronado goes onto say.

The Pocono Great Talent Event is a fundraiser for the Fine Arts Discovery Series, the not for profit that owns the Sherman Theater.  Proceeds from this event will help ensure that the theater can remain accessible for aspiring artists to spread their wings and find their voice. The Finale Show will feature 25 Finalists selected from auditions, to perform on the Sherman Theater stage and compete to win the Grand Prize of $1000, an opening act for a Sherman Theater Show, and the first signed act for Shawnee Riverfest IV.  The Finale Show features Judges Lorna O'Farrell MacIntire, Gil Coronado, and Emceed by State Representative Rosemary Brown.  There will also be Special Marquee Performances, and guest judges to be announced.  "Every year has proven the fact that there is true talent here in our community. What better way to support the Fine Arts Discovery Series than to discover talent right in our backyard. "says Talent Judge Lorna O'Farrell-MacIntire.
