Neurology Associates Earns MRI Certification from Intersocietal Accreditation Commission

CHANDLER, Ariz. - Aug. 23, 2019 - PRLog -- Neurology Associates, an advanced neuroscience center, has earned its inaugural three-year accreditation for its in-house magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system from the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).

The designation not only guarantees that Neurology Associates adheres to and complies with stringent MRI standards and practices, it also extends coverage to patients insured by Medicare. No longer does this important, often stressed, demographic have to endure the frustrations of scheduling MRI appointments with different providers, waiting days, weeks or even months to undergo needed imaging, or seeking preauthorization.

"Dealing with brain and spinal issues, especially when answers aren't yet available, is nerve-wracking enough," said Ali Hajaig, founding partner and CEO of Neurology Associates. "We wanted to give all patients an easy, fast, way to access MRI imaging so they get information about their health sooner rather than later."

Specifically, Neurology Associates holds MRI accreditation in magnetic resonance angiography; neurological MRI; and musculoskeletal MRI.

Perhaps most importantly, the SIGNA HDMR makes MRI exams more comfortable for patients, especially those who have difficulty holding their breath during certain procedures.

Neurology Associates officially attained its MRI accreditation on Aug. 14, 2019, which lasts through Aug. 31, 2022.
