He pursued further studies and graduated from Los Angeles Recording Workshop. Kirks motivation and ambition kept him thriving and he continued studying music at El Camino City College and took private jazz /classical lessons from Scott Hiltzi and also music theory. He later on joined and played with an original band Bibiana performing at the Whiskey A Go Go, At My Place and Madam Wongs West. He performed with other original and cover music bands at Los Angeles venues including Annabelles, Sweetwater, Playboy Club Century City and The Sands. Drawing attention and interest from crowds and bands Kirk's original music was performed by various bands in Los Angeles and one of his film music cues was used as intro for Century Cable radio show about film music. His success grew playing with major acts like jazz/ bossa nova groups performing original and cover music at various clubs, restaurants and private functions. He has also worked at restaurants, clubs, and private functions as a solo act performing jazz standards. This creative artist has written over 150 songs and music cues for film. A Multi-instrumentalist playing keyboards, guitar, harmonica, bass guitar, percussion and programming drums. Playing and writing music in an original and esoteric blend of rock, jazz, blues, funk and dance. Self produced, written, engineered and mixed with an emphasis on stylistic fusion and production that compliments and takes the listener to another state of mind.
