is a humanist, specializing in emotional intelligence leadership. She built her expertise in this area working in leadership capacities in corporate, higher education, and nonprofit settings, as well as coaching hundreds of souls interested in making their unique contributions to the world. (She holds several coaching credentials, in addition to a master of science degree in business adult education.) Cheryl's ultimate goal in life is to simplify the complex task of developing human potential through inspiring communications, self-assessments, and exercises that nurture and transform. She has written two books on the subject—
How to Be a Woman in Business (while Being True to Yourself) and
How to Be a Woman in Technology (while Focusing on What Matters Most). Her third book currently in the works—How to Be an Emotionally Intelligent Leader (while Crushing Your Goals)—is set for release mid-2020. She is also the creator of a series of emotional intelligence leadership and empowerment workshops which she facilitates for corporations through her company Emotional Intelligence Leadership Training Solutions LLC, as well as for her non-profit 501(c)3, Mission Sisters Who Work. Mission Sisters Who Work is dedicated to closing gender, pay, and opportunity gaps for women through self-empowerment books and training, with a special focus on those from underserved communities and/or pursuing careers in STEM-related fields.
