HLN has successfully completed a diesel heater low temperature test at -45°C

SHERIDAN, Wyo. - July 17, 2019 - PRLog -- HLN has successfully completed an in-situ test of its air heaters and coolant heaters in an extreme temperature environment of -45°C, setting a new standard for diesel parking heaters. In the study, all air heaters of 2 kW, 4 kW, 7 kW, and water heaters of 5 kW, 10 kW, 12 kW and 15 kW were able to start and operate smoothly.

The conduction of rigorous extreme temperature tests is motivated by HLN's determination to serve its clients in extreme cold regions, who rely heavily on HLN's products to 1) provide heating for the people; and to 2) solve the cold-start issue for vehicle engines.

"When you combine the challenges of extreme cold weather and high elevation, the complexity is not merely adding up – it's multiplying." Says Steven Zhao, CEO of the company. "Without HLN heaters, drivers in those places would have to get up very early in the morning to heat the engines and fuel tanks with torches before they can get the vehicles started – it is troublesome and dangerous."

Conducting in-situ extreme cold environment tests is a standard process for the company as new lines of HLN heaters become available. Lab tests simulating low temperature (-41°C) and high elevation environments, salty smoke, water splash, and electro-magnetic field interference, and the corresponding in-situ tests are required for HLN heaters.
