Gary Neights Accoladed With the "Top 50 Tech Visionaries" Award at InterCon, Las Vegas 2019

LAS VEGAS - July 15, 2019 - PRLog -- Gary Neights was honored with the "Top 50 Tech Visionaries" award for his significant contributions towards the technology sector at InterCon 2019, held at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, on June 18–20, 2019.

Gary Neights is a Senior Director of Product Management at Elemica where he delivers digital supply innovations. Ranging from customizable solutions to improve refinery operations to SaaS-based SAP order automation, he has conceived and launched numerous value-adding products that increase sales revenue, inter-enterprise ERP data configuration, and simplify SKU and bill of materials (BOM) management for manufacturers.

When asked about the endeavors which made him win the award, Gary said, "I think I've got this award because I've been working on a number of leading-edge product development products that are helping companies better integrate the supply chains and drive Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence into their organization." Upon asking him about his vision, Gary said, "Our vision is to automate the global supply chains for process manufacturers like chemical companies, plastic companies and automobile suppliers to give them instantaneous demand transmission through the supply chains and allow new technologies to operate on top of those flows to make supply chains more efficient."

Gary's work has been widely published including, "When is Cloud Computing the Best Fit", "Bolstering Your Efforts for Operational Excellence", and "Predicting Behavior in Chemical Supply Chains" where he discusses the application of cloud computing to global supply chains.

When asked about the conference, Gary said, "The conference has been great. I wasn't sure as to what to expect. But, I ended up meeting quite a few very bright people here from a lot of different domains which I found to be quite interesting. Being tied-in with the health care conference, I also met people that are working on health care initiatives that have opened up new horizons for me."

Gary has an extensive experience in consulting process improvement and automation initiatives. He started his career as an officer in the USMC focusing on supply chain activities to keep front-line aircraft mission capable. After that worked at GP Strategies (formerly RWD Technologies), he supported technology initiatives for companies including Chevron, Coca Cola, Conexant, Dow, Exxon, Ford, IBM, Lyondell, Mobil, P&G, and SAP.
