RC Pets Has Rebranded - Fresh Look. New Feel. Same Great Products

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - June 11, 2019 - PRLog -- Fresh Look. New Feel. Same Great Products. Smoother Processes. And that's just for starters. Yes, it's true, it's all part of our mission to provide pet products you can trust to enjoy a happier life together. But how did a ski strap company get into the pet business? Well, funny story....

You may have noticed something a little different about us lately, and you'd be right. We're excited to say RC Pets has rebranded, as of this month (June, 2019).

In the beginning?

We often get asked the question, how did we come up with the name RC Products. Good question. The company was in fact named after our founder Rory Carr, who started the business in 1986 as a one-man operation working out of Whistler, B.C. making ski straps. Wait. What?

It's true. Long story short, after mistakenly ordering 10,000 yards of nylon webbing, instead of 1,000, Rory didn't want the product to go to waste and put his creative brain into action. This webbing that was trusted by sports professionals could be great for dog leashes and collars too, he thought. And he was right. It was a steep learning curve and breaking into the pet market was anything but a walk in the park, but in 1995 Rory was indeed in the pet business.

Why rebrand?

It was time. It has been almost 25 years since we branched out into the pet business, and a lot has changed. You could say we've been through the awkward teenage years and grown up. Not only as a company but as the landscape of the pet industry has evolved so too has our understanding of the pet/guardian relationship and the wants and needs of our customers.

Our former logo, images, colours, and message just no longer spoke to who we are. It's fair to say our furry companions have taught us a lot; not just about the value of trust, loyalty, dependability, and simplification, but about having fun – and those values lie at the very heart of our business.

It was time to wave a fond farewell to RC Products Ltd. as it was, to align our brand and welcome our new name RC Pets, which represents an innovative, supportive, and forward-thinking pet and guardian focussed pet product company. Now that's more like it! It was like waving goodbye to that beloved old sweater and replacing it with one that just fits better, and is so very you.

"As the landscape of the pet industry continues to evolve, we too have evolved and grown so much as a company and felt our former logo, images, colours and message no longer spoke to who we are. We are thrilled to unveil our new look that brings together all our brands under the RC Pets name," says Rory Carr, the company's Founder and President.

With a fresh new logo, messaging that mirrors our involvement with the growing community of animal lovers, and a continued commitment to providing trusted quality pet products, the rebranding along with our mission statement to provide pet products to customers that they can trust to enjoy a happier life together with their furry friends signals the evolution of our story and reflects the approach we apply to everything we do; bringing alignment across our brand and company.

We haven't just streamlined our brand however, we have also tightened up our processes; from our warehouse right to your hands and paws.

So what differences will you notice?

A more collaborative process with our pet products that not only look great, but feel and play great, too. We have been rolling out our new logo on our high quality products and you will see an aligned look and message across all our communication, from our website and social channels to our brochures.
