Last Chance To Apply For Cannabis Licensing Is Fast Approaching

BURBANK, Calif. - June 10, 2019 - PRLog -- Having gained prominence in assisting small to medium cap companies obtain Cannabis licensure in jurisdictions throughout the United States, Cannabis Legal Services has expanded its operations to assist companies in Southern California. CLS has confirmed it will be providing application support and startup legal support services for those Phase 3 businesses who have not yet applied for licensure through the Los Angeles Department of Cannabis Regulations.

The general manager of CLS, Erik Nazarian, has stated that CLS will continue its business model of serving only one client per jurisdiction where conflicts of interest may arise. "Too many consultants are taking on more than one client in the same jurisdiction and submitting what is effectively the same application for both. This does both clients a disservice and is not the way CLS has or will operate."

With Phase 3 of the Los Angeles Department of Cannabis Regulations slated to open on September 3, 2019, businesses should at a minimum begin to identify the location where expected operations will take place and identify their executive level staff. Social equity applicant's registration opened up on the Los Angeles Department of Cannabis Regulations website on May 28, 2019.
