Krol's most recent novel, Krakbrayn, a sci-fi adventure, published in May of 2019 by Platinum Needle, has sold to Krol's readers across three continents. His debut novel, The Dolphin People, was published in 2006, first by Picador, an imprint of Pan Macmillan Australia Pty Limited, Sydney, then by Atlantic Books, an imprint of Grove Atlantic Ltd. in Great Britain in 2008, and by Harper Perennial in the United States in 2009. His second novel, Callisto, was translated into 22 languages and has been optioned for film. Krol's last known interview was granted to Harper Perennial in conjunction with its publication of Callisto in 2009. Krol's novels have been reviewed by The New York Times, The Washington Post, Times (London), and other periodicals around the world. The media has speculated about the identity of Krol for more than a decade but no one has made a positive identification. Novelist Steven S.
