SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - June 3, 2019 - PRLog -- The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce invites all the celebrate the many events surrounding the Fourth Of July  holiday. For many visitor and residents alike the celebration can start the weekend before and run  right through the official holiday. With something happening in every corner of the popular Long Beach Island Region, the chamber who serves as the official Destination Marketing Organization created a comprehensive list of some of the top things to enjoy.  Explore the surf lifestyle and all its varities with the award winning Surf and Sip Brew Trail (https://southernoceanmade.com/brew-trail/) itinerary which  is available for those over 21 and is on the Untappd app as a verified venue.  For families this is the perfect time to pick up a Passport to LBI (https://visitlbiregion.com/passport-to-lbi/) for a fun, educational experience during the stay. The members of the chamber and the surrounding communities wish everyone a safe and happy summer and hope you can sample our unique beach culture this upcoming Independence celebration.

Concerts begin from June 29 with Albert Music Hall in Waretown Ladies of Country and Blue Grass Show, free concerts throughout Long Beach Island, curated blues performance at Lizzie Rose Music Room in Tuckerton and Chevy Lopez at the new Bird & Betty's in Beach Haven. Live performances at Surflight Theatre with Flashdance on the Mainstage and Little Mermaid for children. Fantasy Island offers ride specials and entertainment throughout the week.
Fireworks light up the night on beginning July 3 in Barnegat and Lacey Township and on July 4 in Beach Haven and Tuckerton Seaport by land or by sea with a night cruise on Miss Barnegat Light out of Viking Village. Bay Village and Schooner's Wharf offer special activities as well as Tuckerton Seaport with Food trucks on hand. The weekend rounds out with Ship Bottom Fire Company July 6 Summer Block Party featuring music and family fun at their Central Ave Firehouse.
