By: Matt Fitt Photography First came Mayor Katrina Foley (katrinafoley.com) receiving a Congressional Recognition from the office of Congressman Harley Rouda for the Donald Dungan Library during the official Grand Opening Ceremonies. The $36.5 million project includes the 23,000-square- The second historical moment was in the form of a Proclamation from the office of Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris and presented to the mayor by Liz McNabb. Next came the official ribbon cutting to open the Donald Dungan Library to the public. The most exciting of all the actions caught by Matt Fitt's camera on this historical day was the moment when Mayor Katrina Foley leads the L.E.A.P Program (Learn, Explore, and Play) preschool students into the library for the first public tour. Fitt's appetite for documenting historical events only surpassed by his desire to capture truth and beauty through the lens of his camera. When not using his keen eye for documenting events, weddings, and other gatherings, Fitt can be found exploring and capturing the natural beauty of California.
