Summer Challenge Chuck Jones Summer of Creativity to reach over 200 thousand people over 10 weeks in SchaumburgVisit this one of kind exhibit at the Schaumburg Township District Library
By: Schaumburg Township District Library This event is made possible by the backyard EXPERIENCE, Chuck Jones Center for Creativity Southern California and Chicagoland, the Schaumburg Township District Library and sponsored by Andigo Credit Union The Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates Rotary Club, Fabricators & Manufacturers Association Int'l Foundation, Nuts, Bolts and Thingamajigs and 3 Monkeys & Aardvark Studios. The exhibition features works of art, museum archives & artifacts, Chuck's actual animation desk and more. The summer challenge involves reading programs as well as a fully interactive experience where kids and adults will learn to animate, create stories, draw characters, build simple machines in the Acme S.T.E.A.M. Lab, creative discovery and more. These programs have been developed to bring the kids and their families back to the library all summer, to interact with our exhibits, read Chuck Jones selected book list, watch Academy Award winning animation classics, and even help Wile E Coyote build a better Road Runner trap.
