SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - May 22, 2019 - PRLog -- A Chuck Jones Center for Creativity Chicagoland event will be starting on June 1st at the Schaumburg Township District Library and continuing on for 10 weeks through the summer. The program will reach over 200 thousand children and adults throughout the challenge.  It is a one of a kind, totally unique experience brought to us thanks to legendary animator Chuck Jones.

This event is made possible by the backyard EXPERIENCE, Chuck Jones Center for Creativity Southern California and Chicagoland, the Schaumburg Township District Library and sponsored by Andigo Credit Union The Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates Rotary Club, Fabricators & Manufacturers Association Int'l Foundation, Nuts, Bolts and Thingamajigs and 3 Monkeys & Aardvark Studios.

The exhibition features works of art, museum archives & artifacts, Chuck's actual animation desk and more.  The summer challenge involves reading programs as well as a fully interactive experience where kids and adults will learn to animate, create stories, draw characters, build simple machines in the Acme S.T.E.A.M. Lab, creative discovery and more. These programs have been developed to bring the kids and their families back to the library all summer, to interact with our exhibits, read Chuck Jones selected book list, watch Academy Award winning animation classics, and even help Wile E Coyote build a better Road Runner trap. About Chuck Jones Center for Creativity Chicagoland

The Chuck Jones Center for Creativity, is a 501(c)3 public charity based in Orange County, CA. Chuck Jones was a creative genius who gave life to Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote and Bugs Bunny along with over 300 animated films.  The Center, which Jones founded in 1999, is an organization that fosters and teaches creative thinking—the thinking behind problem solving.

It's a fact that "creativity" is like a muscle in your brain that needs exercise in order to get and stay healthy. The stronger that muscle is, the better it works in engaging tasks and solving problems. The Center serves as a gymnasium for the creative brain.

The Center works with disadvantaged youth, school systems without arts programs, people on the autism spectrum, the elderly (many of whom suffer from early onset dementia), and other groups, including corporate clients, who see the value of pumping up creativity in their ranks. For more information on the workshops call 630-283-3621.
