PRLog -- Burnish Creative, a leading post-production firm, announced that John Paul Smith, a veteran post-production executive, has been appointed General Manager, a new position for the fast-growing company. John was most recently the VP at The Farm Group.
Burnish Creative grew its business more than 50 percent last year and added a number of new high-profile clients and projects, including The Masked Singer, Netflix"s Dating Around, America's Got Talent Champions, People's Choice Awards, Radio Disney Music Awards, Meghan Trainor-CNCO-
Sean Paul music video, and Tinder branded content. Burnish continued partnering with Dancing With The Stars, Lip Sync Battle, American Idol and Little Big Shots.
Smith will be initially focusing on refining finishing workflows, further developing infrastructure and expanding the finishing facilities to include Dolby Vision, HDR 10 as well as on-boarding and streamline delivery to networks. Smith and Burnish Creative plan on developing content pilot(s) commencing in the second half of 2019. John Smith brings 15 years of stellar accomplishments and will enhance Burnish's project management, technology, process, and creative capabilities, according to founders.
