This year's WOKE Stage has Congresswoman Donna Shalala, Past President of University of Miami and U. S. Secretary of Health & Human Services during the Clinton Presidency. The Congresswoman's focus will be the multitude of women of all ages, sizes and colors running for office and the historic swearing-in in the nation's capital, January, 2019.
An overriding theme is how the awareness of the look and thinking of women has evolved and celebrating women's self-image; to know that they too, can be that new look of '10'. The conference speakers let the participants know they can do it, the hands-on clinic leaders show them how.
Dr Linell King, King of Vitality as he leads the cause for creating a healthier lifestyle and Ferial Youakim, international image consultant, recently sworn in as the global President of AICI, Association of Image Consultants discuss the beautiful you, inside and out.
The women of Professionally Fabulous are marketing this year's conference a as 'Conference with a Twist'. Guests are encouraged to leave suits and heels at home since lots of movement and hands on demonstrations pepper the day. The day kicks off with mindful yoga with Axell Fleming in the Bonavenature rainforest with award -winning dance instructor, Anthony 'Kumo' Taneo. Dr. Julian Moore demonstrates the use of botox, Rory of Rory Lee makeup share how to look like a celebrity in 15 minutes and Martu Freeman leads a team of stylists and fashion designers. The fashion team includes Wilfred Morerro, Marla Cartin, Yas Fleitas and Mesha Culpepper and Jay Durante of JR Clothing Designs.
The conference Mistress of Ceremony is Paulette 'Tinkerbell' Pfeiffer. Paulette is a Professionally Fabulous Board member and CEO of Silent Victims of Crime, children of incarcerated parents.
