Follow on Google News | Forecast for Week 6: All-City Classic 302 Legends Basketball LeagueHeading into the Final Stretch of the Regular Season, with the Upsets of the past couple of weeks, there are several real contenders for the All-City Classic 302 Legends League Championship. Hold onto your seats, it's going to be bumpy.
By: All-City Classic 302 There was a time in previous seasons where Noble Nine was one of the most exciting teams to watch. They would send teams back home with a loss on Sunday mornings. They had passion and played good team ball. Picked to be a top team in the league coming in this season, they have done nothing but disappoint the fans. The competition has become so fierce, that Noble Nine has been limited to only 2 wins. Scoring only 31pts last game, they look to only add another 10pts to last week's total, and will fall to Laced The OG, 60-41. Laced The OG will only have to fight hard in the 1st half of this game. They will pull away in the 2nd half. Not sure what captain DeVaughn Wilson will say to motivate his team, but it better be good. Or no-one will take them seriously in the playoffs. Game 2: DSW vs Clay City We really don't know how DSW responds to games after taking a loss. It rarely ever happens. DSW missed 9 free throws last Sunday which caused them to lose the game vs Philly last week. After taking the loss, a lot of teams aren't scared of DSW anymore. Clay City players were never scared of DSW, & have been waiting for this game all season. They always give DSW problems, regardless of the outcome. Clay City is coming off a win last Sunday and look to continue their streak. Clay City finally takes DSW out with a 59-57 victory. DSW. struggling from the free throw line last week and not being able to respond to the trash talk Philly gave them, will carry over to this Sunday. Clay City will talk lots of trash, and will put DSW on the line instead of getting an easy layup. We might have seen the last evidence of dominance from DSW in this league. Game 3: Chester vs C-City C-City is in trouble once again as they take on the top team Chester, who look forward to sharing laughs and a few beers after the game as they beat C-City 90-45. Bruce Caple will have his usual double double, along with Shy McBride. Daryl Sanders (aka Thanos), will be the first to reach 100 total points this season and Ra Henry will end up with 10pts, 5rebs & 5assts. Chester will have no problem scoring as C-City puts up a lame defensive effort every game Game 4: RBCBL/Philly vs Free Agents Free Agents have no shot of winning this game but will put up a fight for at least half the game. If Lenell Laws can come back from vacation he can keep Free Agents afloat through most the game. Free Agents will also need a big game from Abdur Scott and Tom if he shows up. B Fauce will also need to be present, along with their coach. The key for them is to play together and not get frustrated with each others play. Philly only has to play hard for about 15 mins in the 1st half before Free Agents start to fold. RBCBL/PHILLY takes a 75-60 win and will be back home in time to enjoy some NBA playoffs. Game 5: Eastside vs CBW CBW should win by 25pts, but Eastside won't let that happen. Eastside has a lot of fight in them, and too much pride to get done that bad. They just always find a way to break down at the end of the game. Both teams are familiar with each other and it will be a good one, going down to the wire.... but CBW will pull away by 7pts in the end. Cooley will be player of the game with 20pts, 8rebs, 4assts & 1blk. Please visit All-City Classic 302 on the web at http://allcityclassic302.com for all your latest updates and information. End
