About the author:

Dr. David Petersen has a B.Sc., a Ph.D., a certificate in teaching English as a second language, and the highest level on the national Japanese Language Proficiency Test. He has taught English in Japan, South Korea, and Hungary, and has worked for nearly twenty years as a Japanese-to-English translator.
