First-time Authors Ask Christians Are You 2 Busy 2 Serve?

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - April 10, 2019 - PRLog -- 2 Busy 2 Serve? Set Yourself Free to Serve God, Family and Country, an inspiring new book by Life Coaches Joe and Cathie Locetta, was launched this week by Brooksedge Publishing, a Texas-based publisher of Christian personal growth and service books. It is the couple's first book, though they plan to release more as they grow the 2 Busy 2 Serve series.

The husband and wife authors say they wrote this book "to reverse the Pareto Principle in the church by liberating Christian citizens from the busyness of life and equipping them to serve God, family, and country while being salt and light in our culture."

The Pareto Principle originally referred to the observation that 80% of Italy's wealth belonged to only 20% of the population. "The Pareto Principle is evident in churches across America today," notes Joe Locetta, "where 80% of the serving is done by 20% and the others just seem to be 2 Busy 2 Serve. We believe God's desire is the other way around - 80% or more should be serving."

The authors' life experiences and observations as Christian citizens, political activists, and life coaches often make them wonder what is holding so many Christians back from stepping up to serve God, family and country? The excuses they hear most often: "I'm too busy." "I don't have the time." "I don't have any talent." "I'm afraid."

This new book provides self-assessments coupled with Bible-based tips and useful resources on how to overcome these daily challenges.

About the Authors
Joe and Cathie Locetta recommitted their lives to Jesus in 1995 and quickly discovered the joy of serving and giving their time, talents, and resources to expand God's Kingdom. They realized that about 20 percent of church goers were serving and the others just seemed to be 2 busy 2 serve.
