Case.io is a collaborative system for medical doctors to share patient's cases in real time. The patient cases are used as an Electronic Health Record (EHR). Some use Case.io an online software for second opinion, some use it for training. The basic of all actions is "store – send – share" images, videos and files in a secure way with colleagues and patients. Case.io can be used for telemedicine and eHealth applications. Medical laboratories, radiology practices, as well as histopathology labs are using Case.io It is also used for eLearning and training of medical doctors and patients.
The possibility of online converting a pdf to a form within an EHR was added as a new feature to Case.io. A pdf is uploaded into the patient case and converted into a form on the computer. The form may be filled out (text area, drop down, radio button, checkbox) and signed by a patient or a medical doctor on a computer, a tablet or a mobile phone . The signature may done by using your mouse, or your finger tip. No additional software has to be used or installed. A pool of different templates may be stored and uploaded to the EHR.
The pdfs converted to forms are used for patient consent, basic health data for patient admission, health history, payment information etc.
